Dear Lion King Jr. Family,
This email includes all the information you need about the COSTUMES we are going to be wearing in the show. And what your child needs to bring in from home. These are basic items that, if you have done shows before you probably already have and if you have not, will continue to use in the future. They are inexpensive and we compare them to needing cleats for soccer, etc. However, if you have a hard time acquiring these items for any reason, please let us know ASAP!
We will be taking care of shoes for everyone however, each participant will need full length, solid black leggings or pants and solid a black shirt/ tank top.
During tech week/dress rehearsal and day of shows each child will be responsible for bringing their own hairbrush... for obvious reasons we have a zero tolerance policy regarding sharing brushes and combs.
Also during the same rehearsals and days of show we have full make up applied.
We are providing makeup and disposable applicators but if for any reason whether it be skin allergies or sensitivities or just because please feel free to send in your child's own personal face, eye and lip make up and applicators. It MUST be worn because stage lights will completely wash out the face without it and if one or two aren't wearing any it will be very noticeable.
A Reminder that ALL COSTUMES are due by Monday, April 22nd to Mrs. Barnhill. Parents please send your child’s costume to school in a bag labeled with their name and their role in the play.
Donations:
If you would like to donate any of the following items, we could really use them: Q-tips, facial wipes, bobby pins.
Thank you all!
